We are avid Ghost Sign Hunters!

Vintage signs we have photographed include ‘Mayfields Cordial’ in Orange, ‘Tremain Brothers Flour Mill’ in Bathurst and ‘Ampol’ in Yeoval, NSW.

One of our favourite images of George Street in the Sydney CBD is from circa 1900. We particularly like the very convincing “Doctors Recommend” Gilbeys Dry Gin. (Photo courtesy of the City of Sydney Archives).

‘Ward 5’ appears on stone work at the Sydney Eye Hospital and last but not least is a photo of the Peapes store advertising which appeared for a short time when the building next door was demolished in the Sydney CBD.
